How to install a punch in a stamping die?
The first priority is to remove the electric erosion mud in the holes of the fixed plate of the stamping die convex mold;
Fix the back of the convex mold fixed plate and chamfer (0.5-1.5) mm45 along the periphery of the mold cavity. The chamfer size depends on the size of the force acting on the mold.
Chamfer the edge of the convex die in the stamping die along the contour line by approximately 0.25mm45.
Use a fine sand strip or diamond file to finely grind the wire cutting marks on the edge of the punch in the stamping die, in order to facilitate the punch entering the fixed plate. The tail should leave a distance without repair, and its length should be slightly greater than or equal to the thickness of the fixed plate;
Place equal height blocks with a height greater than the length of the convex mold under the fixed plate, and then insert the convex mold into the fixed plate; This assignment should be divided into several steps; When the convex mold can stand firmly in the fixed plate, the straightness between them should be measured. Then, when it enters 1/3 and 1/2, it should be measured separately. If any skewness is found, it should be corrected in a timely manner and acknowledged before continuing. When the number of convex molds is large or the scale is small, the discharge plate should be aligned with the concave mold, and the discharge plate should be used to guide the convex mold;
Stop pressing when the convex mold enters the fixed plate with a remaining length of 3-5mm at the tail end. Heat the edge of the convex mold tail end with an oxygen acetylene flame and quickly strike it with a small hammer to make the red hot part swollen; After thorough cooling, press all the convex molds into the fixed plate,
Flatten the tire with an equal height block, and use the lower plane of the fixed plate as a reference to grind the upper plane and the end of the convex mold together;
Based on the flat surface of the fixed plate, place the discharge plate on the convex mold, making the working surface slightly lower than the convex mold, and grind the chamfer of the convex mold's working section flat until the cutting edge is sharp.
