Hardware processing is a field that covers a wide range of processing technologies, and can be mainly divided into two categories: metal surface processing and metal forming processing.
Hardware surface processing mainly includes the following processes:
1. Painting processing: Avoid hardware rust through painting treatment, and are widely used in daily necessities, electrical enclosures, handicrafts, etc.
2. Electroplating processing: using modern technology, electroplating is performed on the surface of the hardware to ensure that the product does not undergo mildew and rust under long-term use, which is commonly found in screws, stamped parts, etc.
3. Surface polishing: Treat the burrs on the surface of hardware products to make their corners smooth and reduce damage to the human body. It is often used in daily necessities.
Metal forming processing mainly includes the following processes:
1. Die casting: The molten metal is injected into the mold by pressure, and after cooling, it forms the desired shape, which is divided into two types: cold pressing and hot pressing.
2. Forging: Metal molding by beating and extrusion is one of the oldest and simplest metal molding processes.
3. Stamping: Select pre-made molds and use a stamping machine for cold stamping, suitable for mass production.
4. Sand turning: A casting process in which molten metal is poured into a sand mold and cooled to obtain the desired shape of the part.
5. Die casting: also known as lost wax casting, is made of fusible material, then coated with several layers of refractory material, after it hardens and dries, the pattern is melted away, and then cast and cooled to obtain the desired shape of the parts.
